Rifle Falls State Park is the closest you'll get
to the tropics in Colorado. The falls is a lush area of trees and
greenery kept moist by the spray of the cascading triple waterfall.
The park's lush vegetation and waterfalls have attracted photographers
and movie crews from around the country who take advantage of the
area's unique scenery. Mysterious limestone caves beneath the falls
entice spelunkers and other curious visitors to explore their dark
depths.

Rifle Falls State Park is one of Colorado's most unique state parks.
Its breathtaking triple waterfall flows year round and is an experience
not to be missed. Located on Hwy 325 12 miles N. of Rifle.

Rifle Falls at 6500 feet is open all year for camping, hiking, fishing
and limestone cave exploration. Photographic opportunities abound,
whether it be of the 80 foot waterfall or the surrounding vegetation
that feed the native wildlife.

Directions - Take I-70 to the Rifle exit, then go north on CO Highway
13 for three miles. Turn right onto Colorado 325 and drive 9.8 miles
